Ane Ohrvik, PhD, is a Professor of Cultural History at the University of Oslo, Norway. Her research focuses on the history of knowledge in early modern and modern Northern Europe. Her publications address themes such as magic and witchcraft, the history of medicine, rituals, book history, heritage, and folk religion, as well as methodological approaches to cultural history.
