Chiara Cauzzi

Chiara Cauzzi holds a PhD in Italian Language, Literature, and Civilization, and teaches the courses Principles of Digital Librarianship and Web Scraping and Data Wrangling at the Faculty of Communication, Culture and Society at the Università della Svizzera italiana. Since 2024, she has been a Research Associate for the project DigitChart – Governing the Commons: Building a Digital Archive of Community Charters from the 13th to the 19th Century in Ticino, based at the Law Institute (IDUSI) of the Università della Svizzera italiana, in collaboration with LUMSA University of Rome. At the University Library Lugano, she is responsible for coordinating the cataloguing service and for promoting special collections. Her research explores the history of the book, with a special focus on its magical dimensions, alongside interests in archival management and digital libraries.
